Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information DividendETFs.net ("we", "us", "the site") collects when you visit, how that information is used, and the choices you have. By using DividendETFs.net you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Information We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, addresses, or financial account details. The information that is collected falls into three buckets:

  • Standard request data: Your browser automatically sends information such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, and timestamp. This is recorded in server and CDN logs for security and diagnostic purposes.
  • Analytics data: We use Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID G-XB2CXBDLKK) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are popular, how visitors arrive, and how long they stay. This data is pseudonymous; IP addresses are truncated before storage where supported.
  • Advertising data: If you visit a page while Google AdSense is active, Google and its partners may read and set cookies to serve and measure ads. See "Advertising and Google AdSense" below.

The site's screener, calculator, income visualizer, and portfolio builder run entirely in your browser. Figures you type into these tools are not transmitted to our servers.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. DividendETFs.net uses cookies for three purposes: keeping the site functional, measuring audience, and (on pages with ads) delivering and measuring advertising. A full list of the categories we use, with opt-out links, is available on our Cookies page.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies will not remove ads but may make them less relevant.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and associated ad networks. When ads load:

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to DividendETFs.net and other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • For opt-out across many participating networks, see aboutads.info or YourOnlineChoices.
  • Google's own advertising and privacy practices are described in its Advertising Policies.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

How We Use Information

Collected data is used to:

  • Operate the site and keep it secure against abuse.
  • Measure which articles and tools visitors find useful so we can improve them.
  • Serve relevant advertising (where applicable) and measure ad performance.
  • Respond to emails you send us.

We do not sell personal information. We do not build individual advertising profiles ourselves; ad personalization, when it occurs, is carried out by the advertising networks named above under their own policies.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over personal data that relates to you:

  • EEA / UK (GDPR): the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and the right to data portability.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. DividendETFs.net does not sell personal information for money.
  • Other jurisdictions: similar rights may apply under local law.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] with a short description of your request. We will respond within a reasonable period required by applicable law.

Retention

Server logs are retained for a short operational window (typically up to 30 days) and then rotated. Analytics data retention follows the default settings of Google Analytics 4. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up.

International Transfers

The service providers we use (including Google) may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, these transfers rely on the standard mechanisms offered by the provider, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

DividendETFs.net is a general-audience site about investing and is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, the services we use, or the law. The "Last reviewed on" date at the top of this page will be updated each time.
